Other prominent olive mills here in Umbria shared our same ethos, hence in 1988 we decided to “join forces” in order to maximise our efforts and expand into a wider market. This was how C.U.FR.OL. was born: from the union of some of the most ancient olive mills in Umbria together with Tiziano Scacaroni, experienced taster and purveyor of all that is of the highest possible quality. The result is Umbrian Olive Mills (what C.U.FR.OL. stands for), based in Spoleto, where our main production and commercial centre is situated.

Our efforts have been paid back and today we are present in: HOTEL & RESTAURANTS: Our client portfolio includes many Michelin star restaurants here in Italy as well as celebrity chefs abroad, where we mainly serve our Gradassi premium brand single estate extra virgin olive oil.
MULTIPLES: Our presence in this trade channel both nationally and internationally is mainly through private label products: organic, PDO Umbrian and 100% Italian extra virgin olive oils.

TRAVEL RETAIL: Most of our brands are present in the exclusive market of duty and tax free shops in all major Italian airports. We are expanding the international market.

AIRLINE CATERING: With our single portion extra virgin olive oils and dressings we are one of the market leaders for airline catering where we serve First and Business Class passengers of some of the world’s most prestigious airlines.
