ACHIEVED: AA+, THE HIGHEST BRC RATING REFLECTS TERRE FRANCESCANE’S CULTURE OF FOOD SAFETY

After the completion of our annual BRC site and documentation audits, Terre Francescane is pleased to share the news that we have gained BRC AA+ Rating at our Umbrian facility where we chose to undergo the unannounced audit. This is the highest possible BRC Rating we could achieve!
This is the official confirmation that we at TERRE FRANCESCANE have an unwavering dedication to maintaining the safety and quality of all our products . In the past two years we have achieved AA rating, which is the highest for announced audits, whilst this year the AA+ rating is due to the unannounced nature of the audit.
The BRCGS Global Food Safety Standard has set the benchmark for nearly 25 years. Adopted by over 22,000 sites in more than 130 countries, the standard is accepted by 70% of the top 10 global retailers, 60% of the top 10 quick-service restaurants, and 50% of the top 25 manufacturers.
Developed with input from industry, it provides a framework to manage product safety, integrity, legality and quality, and the operational controls for these criteria in the food and food ingredient manufacturing, processing and packing industry.
A very well done especially to our quality control and production department as well as the whole team. Since effective food safety and food defence may only be implemented if the entire company embraces such philosophy.
